Landscapes and Self Portraits is a response to transition. The making and breaking of self through free improvisation. With rhythmic patterns and melodic fabrics, these pieces describe personal spaces and emotional structures to be built, dismantled and rebuilt again and again. This project relishes and savors approaching the unknown.

These pieces were composed and performed using a modular synth and an OP1. Although each piece is unique in style, approach, and sonic palette, these are memories in the present projected into the future. If memories are changed each time we access them, then we should be free to rewrite them, altering them beyond recognition save for the emotional content chosen in the voice that we so chose.
